Benjamin Hung, MD
General and Bariatric/Weight Loss Surgeon

Dr. Hung is a board certified general surgeon as well as a member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS). Originally from Oklahoma, he graduated from the BA/MD accelerated program at The University of Kansas City in 1995. He completed a surgical internship at the University of Colorado from 1995-1996. Then, he completed his general surgery residency in Kansas City at Truman Medical Center and Saint Luke’s Hospital from 1996-2001.

As a general surgeon who specializes in weight loss surgery, Dr. Hung was instrumental in starting the bariatric/surgical weight loss programs in Lincoln.

Oliver Knoell, MD
General and Bariatric/Weight Loss Surgeon

Dr. Knoell is board eligible by the American Board of Surgery and a member of several medical societies including the American College of Surgeons and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgeons (ASMBS). He grew up in Columbus, Ohio and earned a degree in biochemistry from Ohio State University followed by his medical degree from University of Toledo College of Medicine. He completed general surgery residency training in Pittsburgh at Allegheny Health Network, before completing a fellowship in advanced GI minimally invasive and bariatric surgery in Fresno, CA with Advanced Laparoscopic Surgical Associates.

Anthony Tabatabai, DO
General and Bariatric/Weight Loss Surgeon

Dr. Tabatabai is board certified in general surgery and is a member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS). He grew up in Lincoln and graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a bachelor of arts in biochemistry. Dr. Tabatabai earned his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Kansas City, Missouri. He completed his general surgery residency at Michigan State University-Ascension Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc, Michigan. His fellowship in advanced gastrointestinal minimally invasive and bariatric surgery was completed at Saint Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.

Raymond Taddeucci, MD
General and Bariatric/Weight Loss Surgeon

Dr. Taddeucci is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS). He grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and made the move to Nebraska in 1991 to attend Creighton University. He majored in chemistry and went on to attend Creighton University School of Medicine. He stayed at Creighton and completed his general surgery residency in 2005. Following his residency, Dr. Taddeucci completed a fellowship at the University of Tennessee-Memphis in minimally invasive (laparoscopic) surgery.

He performs a wide variety of laparoscopic surgical procedures, with a focus on weight loss surgery.
