Fitness Counts
A special class for those with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) or Stroke
This class will provide tools and training to improve the quality of life for those individuals with MS and other neurological conditions, or recovering from a stroke.
Classes include:
- Balance training
- Gait (how you walk) and coordination exercises
- Resistance training
- Endurance exercises

Requirements Before Your First Class
Individuals must be cognitively alert with minimal mental dysfunction and must be able to walk independently or with a cane. Individuals will also be required to take a pre-assessment and need a physician's referral before starting classes.

What does the class cost?
- $50 per month for two classes per week
- $75 per month for three classes per week
- $125 per month for four or more classes per week
Classes available Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Classes offered:
- Fitness Counts for Stroke – Recover movement, rebuild confidence and improve strength in a supportive group environment. Class meets three times per week for 60 minutes.
- Fitness Counts for MS – Improve functional movements for daily living, build strength and increase endurance in a fatigue-friendly environment. Class meets three times per week for 60 minutes.
