What is Bryan Health ezVisit?
Bryan Health ezVisit is virtual, online care with a Nebraska board certified doctor. It’s an affordable, easy way for you to receive a diagnosis and treatment recommendations for common, minor illnesses. Best of all, you can use it anytime 24/7 and anywhere in Nebraska.
How does Bryan Health ezVisit work?
All you do is answer a few questions about your health symptoms using your computer, tablet or phone and request a virtual care ezVisit. Our board certified doctor will review your symptoms and recommend treatment to you. You’ll hear back from the doctor within two hours. Your diagnosis and treatment recommendations, even a prescription if needed – will all be sent to you online.
Who is eligible?
Bryan Health ezVisit is available to anyone in Nebraska.
What conditions do we treat?
Bryan Health ezVisit is highly effective at safely diagnosing and treating common, minor medical concerns such as:
- Athlete's foot
- Bladder infection (UTI)
- Cold sore, canker sore or fever blisters
- Cold, cough or sore throat
- Diaper rash
- Eczema or dermatitis
- Flu symptoms and fever
- Jock itch
- Low back pain
- Minor burns
- Motion sickness
- Pink eye (conjunctivitis)
- Seasonal allergies
- Sinus infection
- Tinea (fungal skin infection)
- Yeast infection
If an online diagnosis is not right for your symptoms, you will not be charged for your online ezVisit. We will refer you to the care you need.
Who makes the diagnosis?
A Nebraska board certified doctor will review your symptoms and recommend treatment to help you feel better. The doctor can even prescribe medications, if needed, and send the prescription to the pharmacy of your choice.
How long does it take?
It only takes about five-10 minutes to complete the questionnaire about your symptoms. The number of questions depends on your answers and symptoms in order for the doctor to accurately diagnose your condition. Once you complete and submit your questionnaire, you will receive your diagnosis and treatment recommendations from the doctor within two hours.
If your condition is not suitable for online diagnosis and treatment, you will be told this immediately and will not be charged for your ezVisit. You will then receive referral information for the care you need.
When can I do a Bryan Health ezVisit?
Bryan Health ezVisit is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
What does my ezVisit cost?
Each Bryan Health ezVisit only costs $39. You can pay with a credit card or your health savings account (HSA).
Is it covered by insurance?
Check with your insurance company to see if Bryan Health ezVisit is covered by your insurance. If your insurance covers Bryan Health ezVisit, you can submit your receipt to your insurance company following your visit. We cannot guarantee you will be reimbursed.
Can I use my medical flexible spending account?
Bryan Health ezVisit may be allowed through your medical flexible account spending program. Please check with your company for final approval. If you have a debit/credit card for your flexible account, you can use it to pay for the service or you can submit your receipt for reimbursement. Remember to always keep your receipt in case you need additional documentation for your company.
Can I get a prescription?
Bryan Health ezVisit board certified doctors can prescribe medications if your condition warrants a prescription. We treat minor health conditions, and do not provide prescriptions for pain medications or narcotics. Bryan Health ezVisit is not an online pharmacy. You are responsible for the cost of any prescriptions, over the counter treatments or follow-up visits you may need.
How safe is my personal information?
All of your personal information and data is encrypted and protected, so you can feel confident that your personal health information is secure and confidential.
Can I use Bryan Health ezVisit instead of going to my family doctor?
In some cases when you have a minor health problem and your doctor’s office isn’t open or when you can’t get an appointment, Bryan Health ezVisit is a good option for you to receive convenient care. However, Bryan Health ezVisit doesn’t replace the need for a primary care physician (PCP). If you don't have a primary care doctor, we can help you find one.
How do I view details of my past Bryan Health ezVisit diagnoses, treatment plans and prescriptions?
- Go to bryanhealthezvisit.com
- Click on Profile and History in the top right corner
- Click on Visit History and a list of your previous ezVisits will appear
- Select a past visit and then click View Details to see your diagnosis, treatment plan and any medications prescribed
