What does a nurse navigator do?

  • Helps you understand your diagnosis and treatment options
  • Gives you clear information so you can make confident decisions about your care
  • Helps coordinate your appointments, tests and referrals to other services like nutrition or physical therapy
  • Keeps your care team connected by sharing updates and treatment plans
  • Looks for anything that might delay or hinder your care and helps find resources to help
