Merrick Medical Center Student Scholarships

Are you planning to pursue a career in health care? Each year Merrick Medical Center awards seven scholarships on behalf of Central City Medical Clinic and the Hospital Auxiliary to help successful students afford their education to follow their dreams.

Central City Medical Clinic Scholarship

Four (4) Scholarships Available • $1,000 Each

Requirements:

• You must be in the top half of your graduating class
• You must enroll in an accredited school beyond the high school level to earn a degree in a health profession

Scholarships are funded through our school physical program. Each year, our medical staff donates their time and goes onsite to local schools in order to provide a discounted school physical. Those funds, in turn, fund our scholarship program.

Hospital Auxiliary Scholarship

Three (3) Scholarships Available • $1,000 Each

Requirements:

• Pursuing a degree in health care
• Live in Merrick County or attend a Merrick County School

The Hospital Auxiliary plays a key role in our community by taking gently used donated merchandise and reselling it in the Thrift Store. The Thrift Store, which is run entirely on volunteers, is an incredibly successful business. Their mission is to provide support to Merrick Medical Center by donating their proceeds. The Thrift Store’s success is unparalleled. They recently surpassed $1 million in donations!
