Kearney Regional Medical Center began it's Volunteer Services department in Summer of 2023.
Volunteer Opportunities
- Greeting/visiting with patients and guests
- Delivering flowers to patients
- Helping guests find their way
- Stocking products and other special projects
- Supporting hospital staff
Volunteer Requirements
All volunteers must be age 19 or older and complete a background check.
Other requirements include:
- Volunteering a minimum of eight hours per month
- Initial three-month commitment
- Work two to four hour shifts, Monday through Friday
- Meet the position requirements, train and begin service within 2-4 weeks of interview date
