KRMC Honors 2025 Caring Kind Nominees, Announces Award Recipient
Kearney Regional Medical Center (KRMC) celebrated its annual Caring Kind Recognition Event on Thursday, Aug. 21, honoring 22 exceptional employees nominated for the 2025 Caring Kind Award.

The event concluded with the announcement of Naghmeh Hosseini as KRMC’s 2025 Caring Kind Award recipient. Hosseini will represent KRMC at the Nebraska Hospital Association’s Caring Kind Awards Luncheon later this year. For four decades, hospitals across Nebraska have gathered to recognize health care professionals who exemplify compassion, dedication and service excellence.
Hosseini has been a KRMC employee for 11 years and currently serves as the Operating Room Coordinator in surgery. She is also a Certified Surgical Technologist with extensive experience. Her nomination described her as someone who “goes the extra mile, spends extra time and effort to make a difference.”
“Naghmeh goes above and beyond to demonstrate compassion for patients, partnership with co-workers and dedication to excellence in her job responsibilities,” the nomination read. “She works tirelessly to ensure equipment, instruments, instructions and vendors are ready for any surgical case. She makes a minimum of three calls per case, sometimes up to 20, just to ensure everything is available for successful outcomes.”
While much of her work happens behind the scenes, Hosseini’s diligence is well known among her colleagues. Her commitment to preparation and collaboration has made her a vital part of the surgical team.
KRMC also recognized the following nominees for their outstanding contributions to patient care and teamwork:
Naghmeh Hosseini, Beth Wilson, Kristi Vollmer, Abigail Thorpe, Megan Teahon, Allison Spaulding, Jess Scoville, Shelby Rickert, Joanna Pritchard, Kelsey Peterson, Chestney Miller, Candace Miller, Hollie Lauer, Taylor Klingelhoefer, Jesse Henne, Susan Halpin, Emily Elliott, Victoria Du Preez, Amiya Chamberlin, Dr. Anirban Ghosh, Julie Bydalek and Vicki Bailey-Zeleski.
KRMC extends its gratitude to all nominees for their dedication and compassion, which continue to make a meaningful impact on patients, families and the community.
