CAMC Community Health Needs Assessment
Crete Area Medical Center – Community Health Needs Assessment and Implementation Plan
Crete Area Medical Center serves the community as a non-profit, 24 bed critical access hospital. Crete Area Medical Center is committed to improving the health of our community by continually working with community partners to address the health needs of our community.
During 2015, Crete Area Medical Center partnered with Public Health Solutions, located in Crete, to complete a Community Health Needs Assessment for Saline County. The health needs identified from the assessment were prioritized by a representative group of stakeholders from throughout the county and utilized to develop a Community Health Improvement Plan for Saline County. Crete Area Medical Center then prepared an implementation plan to address the priorities identified in the Community Health Improvement Plan. This plan describes how Crete Area Medical Center will give back to the community in the form of health care and other community services to address unmet community health needs.
