I graduated from Bryan School of Nursing in 1981 and have worked in cardiology my entire career. I have worked for Bryan Heart since the first day it opened its doors. I helped set up and managed the cardiac catheterization laboratory for three years. I then worked with heart failure patients in the Heart Improvement Program while going to school to become a nurse practitioner. I graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, in 2007 with my adult and acute nurse practitioner certifications. I remained in the Heart Improvement program until 2013, and then moved into the inpatient arena as the electrophysiology nurse practitioner.
