My Approach to Care

I enjoy being a family medicine doctor. My focus is on geriatrics, which is taking care of patients age 60 and older. Special health concerns can include arthritis, dealing with multiple medical issues and managing multiple medications.

I really appreciate my older patients, they are a special group. It's very rewarding to be able to make a difference.

Dr. Myers seems to be a very personable. Dr. And listened Very well and is very kind. But since I have been his since he's been my primary provider at for the past 3 years. I've met him 3 times. I cannot seem to ever get to see him when I have something other than a wellness check and I don't know. I just don't know how to reach someone. I don't know and what I do have problems with is a Bryan Health Providers as a whole I have had some pretty bad experiences with my any hospital visits ER visits PA the surgeon that work with me. The response was terrible and Dr. Myers was very kind to listen to my problems.

The nurse was very good. Dr. Myers answered all of my questions. I really have no complaints about my visit and even told other people when I think that he was pretty darn good.

My complaint is with the blood draw that they did the day before. I spent 1 hours in the office. Just waiting to get my blood drawn because somebody had made a mistake in entering something on it. And then when they got it put in and somebody else had to change it because there was still a mistake. I think one hour to sit there waiting for a blood draw is too long.

Yes, I was a pleasure to visit with Dr. Michael Myers. He answered all my questions and I felt very comfortable talking to him about my recent amputation. And also something needs to be said about Nurse Sarah. She helped me back to my car with the wheelchair provided by your clinic. I thought that was above and beyond her expectations and tell her I really appreciated her help and one thing about your wheelchair. The wheels need to be fixed. They're kind of wobbly and difficult to steer. It was a very excellent visit to the clinic and I was Really going to miss a doctor van Vyke cuz I've been seeing her for a long time, but Dr. Michael Myers as certainly stepped up to the plate for me. Thank you.

The staff is very friendly. I appreciate the fact that I didn't have to wait long in the waiting room & after I was taken back to the room Dr Myers was in right away.

I came 30 minutes early and I was called very quickly. This gave the nurse time to get all my information and was ready for me to see the doctor at my scheduled time. Dr. Myers was easy to visit with as we are still getting acquainted. He didn't seem to be in a hurry and gave me as much time as I needed. I was pleased with his responses.

I believe in the first question you were so slow I pressed a 1, and that was probably the wrong number. I wanted to high number. You could really zip-up the talking a little bit instead of going so slow when people are doing things and getting ready for the hospital. But thanks anyway for getting my survey going. He was a perfect doctor, perfect gentleman, was very honest with me. Thank you.

Dr. Myers' nurse was amazing and personable! Since I was a new patient Dr. Myers didn't completely know my medical history, but we discussed new & ongoing concerns. I am surprised since I was there for a physical, that I didn't get a breast exam (I thought that this was standard practice for an annual woman's physical).

I was very pleased with my new doctor knowing my past medical history as my file is rather large since I am a two time cancer survivor. He was very thorough in answering all my questions. He is a good fit for me as my doctor.

Dr. Myers was easy to talk with and explained my questions and his nurse, Sarah, was thorough and did not rush through the exam. I've had a hard time finding a family doctor in Lincoln in part due to so many changes with medicare requirements. And with Humana requirements but all seems to be at peace now.

My first visit to new Dr since previous Dr retired. So far comfortable with new Dr. Changing Dr is not easy for me, so far so good. Other staff friendly and welcoming. This is taking more than 1 minute.

I didn't know that the doctor was writing out a prescription for a treatment that he looked at that it, it was a wellness exam. So I was surprised when I got to the pharmacy and find out that the prescription was there. That wasn't communicated very well. Thank you.

after I left, I discovered no one gave me any paperwork about the visit and what took place, what action to take and meds to put me on. I was a little puzzled because we just moved from out of state and they always had given you paper work. but with computers everyone can now get on my chart to look if you have any questions. so hopefully there is a way to view any details. Dr Myers did order a PT to evaluate me for handicap accessible items. they called 2 days later and came out right away.

We are very happy with Dr. Michael Myers, very satisfied with him, but I'm very unhappy with these lack of response to try and call his office They seem to not answer the phone a lot. I've called a total of 9 times on two different occasions and got a recorded message that they would get back to me. It's unacceptable to me to call my doctor and not get an answer in the office when I know people are in the office. Thank you.
