My Approach to Care

I want to do what’s best for each patient, and do that in a timely manner. I always think that a doctor and patient should have a good relationship and be on the same team. A big part of my job is to explain what is happening and the best treatment option. First and foremost, to put the patient first.

This doctor had certain things that he wanted me to do. However, some were rather unrealistic, and he did not give any advice on how to make them happen, how I could make them be realistic in normal day-to-day life.

I've been in pain for years. I wait 7 weeks to see him, and now I got to wait 3 months for followup. I don't know if you understand what pain is. Apparently he doesn't.

The entire staff was very kind and courteous concerning my case and the Doctor very understanding in his explanations and in answering any questions I had.

I don't have any complaints about the doctor, but I think the nursing staff needs to get up to date on wrapping wounds and taking care of wounds and taking care of their patients in a timely manner. Instead of leaving you set for 2 1/2 hours and you're still there, and I wrapped my own wound and I left. Thank you.

I feel that Doctor. Goettsch and his nurse and that are very knowledgeable and had very good bed side manner answered all questions. I had however, I didn't get a follow up after surgery and I guess I really wasn't told there's anything to expect. That could come up after the surgery that I needed to watch out for.

I have absolutely no problems with the provider. The provider is wonderful. What I do have problems with, is the office people or the front desk people. They are very difficult sometimes to schedule with or to... I don't, I don't know to, when you make an appointment or different things like that, they tend to shuffle you around and then say that the appointment wasn't made when it was and different things like that. There just seems to always be a problem with the front desk people.

It took the doctor a long time to come in to the examination room he was 45 minutes or about an hour late getting into the appointment that's the only complaint I have. Thank you. Goodbye.

The only thing I have is that the waiting period to see the doctors, way too long. It was over an hour that I had to sit and wait, maybe an hour and a hlaf. It was a long waiting time. Thank you.

Dr. Goettsch, did amazing job. Taking care of me his skill and its ability to communicate are just incredible. I'm very thankful that I have Dr. Goettsch caring for my vascular disease, and I just really appreciate the level of care that he provides. Additionally the ultrasound tech do, a wonderful job of evaluating me and I'm very thankful for the work that they do. Thank you.

Felt like my concerns didn't matter! Staff was rushed and not too friendly! Be more personable with patients that means the most! Things got done in timely manner but I had many questions that it felt we didn't have time to discuss! So if the staff can work on this that would be great for future patients!

I arrived on time for my appointment and the nurses took care of me pronptly. Then I had a wait of 45 minutes, without any explanation......NOT REAL HAPPY.

I liked Dr. Goettsch's technicians in sonography and the ultrasound tech VERY much. His front desk staff were very friendly, efficient and professional. Dr. Goettsch is abrupt. I wasn't certain he was listening or that he valued what I was saying. He obviously is a good doctor, but he seems to downplay the patient's input. His answers to my health concerns were not very complete or helpful. I doubt this is the case, but I felt like, as a patient, his view was I didn't need to know. That was just my impression. I DID appreciate very much how quickly he not only got tests ordered for me, but also had them done the exact same day. The overall experience was positive because they got a lot done in one day and I was treated professionally. My impression of the doctor was just that he is probably a very good doctor but has no understanding of or concern about how he's perceived by the patient, or whether the patient feels valued.

I did wait for quite a while in the room for him. I don't know if he got behind with someone but it would be nice to not have to wait too long in the room for him next time. So that's the only concern I have with it, how long I waited in the room. It might have been an hour or so. That's all I have.
