As a family practice nurse practitioner, I love my profession and caring for people of all ages and in all health situations whether that is helping a patient remain healthy or treating a wide variety of health problems and illnesses. I think of each and every patient as if they were my own family, and look forward to meeting you and assisting you in your health care needs and goals.
My nursing background provides me with the knowledge to treat patients holistically. And, my advanced training as a nurse practitioner provides the skills to diagnose, treat, monitor health conditions, interpret test results and prescribe medications to meet all of your health care needs. I enjoy helping people achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle, providing wellness physicals and taking the time to visit with each patient about steps you can take to remain healthy. As a certified medical examiner for the Department of Transportation (DOT), I provide the physicals and paperwork required for all DOT drivers.
I earned my diploma degree from Bryan School of Nursing in 1999, a masters of science in nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in the Family Nurse Practitioner Program in 2007, and worked 17 years in hospital, family practice clinic and ER settings in rural Nebraska.
