My Approach to Care

My philosophical approach to care is focused on a holistic model. Understanding a patient’s physical, emotional and spiritual needs are paramount to providing their health care. I believe that transparency is the most fundamental component when providing information to a patient. My goal is to ensure patients and their loved ones have a precise understanding of detailed information throughout the course of their care.

I take great pleasure in caring for patients across the lifespan – from the very young to the very old.  Every stage is associated with a different perspective of world-views, joy and suffering. My goal is to empathize and comprehend each person’s narrative. We are more connected to one another today than ever before in human existence. The power of human-to-human connection is so profound.

Being a provider has provided me the opportunity to make an impact in people’s lives.

The phone service to get over there was just terrible and when I got to the office, it was just as bad and when you didn't feel good, it was awful. It was just so mixed up over there and with people trying to figure out new papers over there up over there and with people trying to fill out new papers and that but I trusted the doctor and I like him very well and I certainly hope this area improves in their phone service. I bet I waited 20 to 30 minutes trying to get the phone to get into them the other morning. The phone service is awful and the girls at the desk we're just going crazy. There was so many people waiting and that has to be improved. It takes tension.
