My Approach to Care

I like helping people solve their health problems. Two areas of most interest are managing chronic conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes or high cholesterol, and helping patients with mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety. In both areas there are a great deal of things you can work with patients on so they experience noticeable changes in their lives.

I enjoy developing a relationship with my patients and getting to know them over time. This includes working with babies and young children as well as the retired population.

My approach is collaborative. I want to hear what my patients are experiencing, help them determine what they need and work together to guide them towards their goals.

Excellent. First time I met this provider and he was very friendly and caring. He took the time to get my history and was very informative. I didn't have to wait long to be seen which was very important because I came in with a horrible migraine.

I would like to see a more efficient process for renewing prescriptions. As a patient when I call to have a prescription sent to my Pharmacy, there's often a day or two delay, whether it's related to the new transmitting system, I don't know but seems like it could use some improvement. Thank you.

It's difficult for me to just get to the doctor for myself. I do understand what he was saying. But now I have to take off more time from work, pay another copay and wait to be seen again next week. Seems redundant and frustrating.

Hi, I stopped at the most part visit went really well talk scrap. He was very knowledgeable very helpful and suggestions to deal with what I had. The only thing I would have suggested to improve on I wasn't informed when I received a call for the appointment. That I would need to put it new information into the system when they shifted location. So I arrived thinking that it was sort of being normal weight time, but I ended up having to fill out some paperwork and then I was late. On the back end of that. So I would have appreciated a little more transparency and communication everything.

Need more parking spaces. There was a person in the waiting room with a motor function disease and I would have gladly waited longer for a Dr to see him ahead of me. He certainly seemed to uncomfortable.

PA David was very helpful. He listened and took the extra time to explain my condition and address the questions I had. I was very pleased with his care. I would also like to note the ladies at the front desk were very friendly. A welcoming quality that I did not feel at the prior office/location.

I found the entire staff ,as well as the doctors having their own PA much less confusing....therefore the whole before, during and after the appointment to be coordinated, frindly. I appreciate the time that David gives to me as a patient and how he really listens. It was because of his suggestion to check into my sleep habits, that I was able to get a Cpap machine. I am getting much better sleep and have seen an increase in energy because of it.

This new location is very depressing. Treatment rooms are like cells with dreary wall color. Everything is cramped including the parking lot.

This doctor and staff is night and day different from my previous one. The fact that when I call the nurse and a real human answers the phone, I cannot say enough about how much that means to me. My previous doctor and his staff would NOT answer or return any calls. Was as if I was going to a rock star doctor who couldn’t be bothered by communication. Getting my prescriptions was a 50/50. I am now very happy with David Dick and his staff. With my past medical history this is extremely important. I’m very happy.

The waiting room was freezing. After I was put in the exam room I waited at least 30 minutes before I was seen. There's not enough parking.

For my appointment, I called for the earliest appointment as it was necessary to see a doctor hopefully that day. I was able to see a PA that same afternoon. This is a service I really appreciate.
