About Box Butte General Hospital
Box Butte General Hospital (BBGH) is a not-for-profit Critical Access Hospital with 25-beds providing a variety of services, including: 24/7 Emergency Department, Urology, Full Orthopedic Program (General, Sports Medicine,Spine, and Foot and Ankle specialties) complete laboratory and diagnostic imaging (X-ray, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, Advance Ultrasound Imaging, Bone Density/DEXA Scan); Diabetic Education; Dialysis; Lifeline; Obstetrics, Oncology; Rehabilitation (including Cardiac Rehab, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Sports Medicine and Speech Therapy); Respiratory Therapy; Electro Diagnostics, Surgery; Wound Care; Respite Care; and Behavioral Health. Additionally, BBGH offers a variety of outpatient services through its Specialty Clinic.
A $40 million new addition and renovations include patient rooms, labor & delivery, emergency department, surgical suites, imaging & laboratory, specialty clinic and skilled rehabilitation. The final phase of renovation, scheduled to open February, 2017, will include cardiac rehab and a fitness center.
