The Post Graduate Year 1 (PGY1) residency program at Bryan Medical Center provides challenging and well-rounded training opportunities to prepare pharmacy residents to practice independently with the strong clinical and problem-solving skills needed to excel in patient care and teaching.
Program Focus
This 12-month program builds on your Doctor of Pharmacy degree and focuses on:
- Patient care and practice management to achieve optimal outcomes
- Development of pharmacist to provide medication-related care to patients with a wide range of conditions
- Preparation for board eligibility and postgraduate year two (PGY2) pharmacy residency training
