Purpose
To enable men and those close to them to find that their distress eases as treatment begins and they gain an understanding of prostate cancer.
Goals
- Provide information about prostate cancer, treatment methods and possible side effects.
- Provide an opportunity to share experiences and receive support from others.
- Encourage involvement from family, friends or significant others.
- Create a working partnership between you and your physician.
