2026 Ribbon Run / Walk

Join us on Saturday, October 17, 2026, for the KRMC and Cancer Partners of Nebraska Ribbon Run / Walk, beginning and ending at the Kearney Cancer Center. This meaningful community event honors and supports individuals and families impacted by cancer while celebrating strength, resilience, and unity.

Why We Run

Proceeds benefit the KRMC Foundation Cancer Fund, supporting the Healing Arts program by bringing meaningful artwork to the Kearney Cancer Center, while also providing vital resources for patients such as gas cards, food vouchers, comfort items, and transportation assistance—helping ease financial burdens so patients can focus on healing.

Event Details

Participants can choose between:

• 1‑Mile Yanney Lake Loop Walk
• 5K Run through scenic Yanney Park

The course will start and finish at the Kearney Cancer Center, crossing Yanney Avenue and winding through beautiful Yanney Park.

Schedule

• 8:15–9:15 a.m. | Check‑in at Kearney Cancer Center
• 9:30 a.m. | Walk & 5K Run begin

Please note: This is a non‑timed, non‑chipped race.

Who Can Participate

All ages and fitness levels are welcome!
Strollers, wagons, scooters, and dogs on leashes are allowed.
🚫 Bikes are not permitted.

Upon arrival, each participant will have the opportunity to select a ribbon and write the name of an individual or group they wish to honor or support.
