Stop the Bleed
An injured person can die from blood loss within five minutes. Control of bleeding in the minutes before professional rescuers respond can be life-saving. This class will give you the knowledge and skills to provide immediate help for trauma victims with life-threatening bleeding. You'll learn how to stop bleeding, apply a tourniquet, and keep the injured person alert and calm until emergency responders arrive. In less than an hour, you can be prepared to save someone’s life.
