Rural Division Financial Officer
Bryce has over 30 years of health care finance experience and has been with Bryan Health since 2008. As rural division financial officer, Bryce is responsible for planning, oversight, training, and compliance related to finance, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance for rural division owned, managed, and affiliated hospitals. He provides financial expertise and process improvement recommendations to rural hospital CFOs to ensure best practices.
Rural Finance Consultant
Travis serves as a Rural Finance Consultant for Bryan Health. He previously was an administrative fellow with Bryan Health where he was immersed in hospital operations and governance. Travis focuses on providing finance assistance in a variety of capacities including financial management support, chargemaster reviews, provider compensation and business analytics. Travis grew up in Grand Island, Nebraska and attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He earned his master’s degree in health care administration from Saint Louis University.
Rural Division Development Officer
Ken served as vice president of strategic planning and regional development for Bryan Health and executive director of Heartland Health Alliance for 20 years. After retiring in 2015, he returned to serve as a rural development officer for the Bryan Rural Division in 2016. As rural development officer, Ken’s focus is on helping support rural hospitals by connecting them with resources available from the Heartland Health Alliance and Bryan Health.
Brenda serves as the rural division improvement officer for Bryan Health. She brings over 20 years of health care operations experience from ambulatory to acute care settings. Her background also includes project management, process improvement and optimization. She grew up in a rural community and relates to the variances between urban and rural areas. She provides workflow redesign, process improvement, coaching and mentorship for leaders, floor plan design and innovate ways to engage teams when preparing for change. She earned her master’s degree in human relations and business from Amberton University.
Brenda has more than 25 years of experience in healthcare including 17 years as a physician recruiter. As a rural Nebraska native, she understands the challenges rural hospitals face in recruiting providers to their communities. She has a strong commitment to finding the right fit for the physician and the practice. Brenda is a member of the Association of Staff Physician Recruiters (ASPR) and the Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas Midwest Physician Recruitment and Retention Network (MINK).
Supply Chain Analyst
Adam serves as the rural division supply chain analyst for Bryan Health. He brings over six years of experience in a health care setting, and over 15 years of experience in organizational effectiveness. His background also includes project management, account/customer management, talent management and consultative services. A native of Nebraska, he is dedicated to working with the rural hospitals he serves to ensure they are maximizing their purchasing decisions. He earned his master’s degree in business administration from Chadron State College.
Human Resources Program Manager
Bobbie is a human resource professional for over 20 years. She has experience in all functions of human resources, specializing in the talent management process. Bobbie has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in public administration with a focus in management. Her certifications include SPHR (senior professional in human resources) and SHRM-SCP (senior level HR professional).
Jayne Van Asperen,
Rural Division Quality Officer
Jayne serves as rural division quality officer for Bryan Health and network coordinator for the Heartland Health Alliance. She brings extensive experience in rural health to our team. Jayne is passionate about ensuring the rural communities she serves are able to provide the best care to their patients. Jayne earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Midland University in Fremont, Nebraska.
