Credentialing Verification Organization

Heartland Health Alliance established a Credentialing Verification Organization (CVO) in 1995. The HHA credentialing service provides timely and accurate credentialing information for our clients. Our credentialing team consists of three staff members with years of credentialing experience. We provide services to 38 clients and have approximately 3,000 providers in our database that are credential and re-credential for our clients.

We provide a thorough quality assurance audit on each file prior to its release to the client. In addition, we offer a 30 business day guarantee turnaround time on initial and reappointment files. The 30 days commences upon receipt of a completed application and supporting documents. We offer convenient, easy to use online application and peer referencing forms to streamline the process.

Diabetes Education Certification Program

The Heartland Health Alliance diabetes initiative allows members to be an accredited diabetes education program through the American Diabetes Association (ADA) because of their affiliation with Bryan Health and the initiative. The mission of the 26 hospitals within the initiative is to provide quality diabetes self-management education to individuals in our region through collaboration with physicians and communities. Rural hospitals that are eligible to join the program pay an initiation fee and nominal annual maintenance fee. We have a designated coordinator to oversee the planning, implementation and evaluation of the program.

For more information, please contact Jenna Mayers at Jenna.Mayers@bryanhealth.org.

Family Medicine Reinvestment Program

We are excited to present the HHA Family Medicine Reinvestment Program (FMRP). The program’s purpose is to reinvest in the supply of rural family medicine physicians by supporting residents during their three-year LMEP residency with the commitment to practice in one of our 26 rural practice opportunities. In these rural communities, you will leverage your diverse family medicine skills and develop deep rooted relationships while making a significant impact in meeting the needs of rural Nebraskans.

Group Purchasing Organization Studies and Affiliation

We help you identify opportunities to reduce your costs related to everything you purchase for your organization. We work with you to analyze all of your purchases and compare the aggregate cost with discounts available through Bryan/Vizient Group Purchasing Organization (GPO), to determine if cost savings opportunities exist. The optimization study may determine that your organization could reduce costs and increase savings by procuring your supplies from another vendor. Our affiliate group provides access to a dedicated supply chain analyst who will assist your materials management team in finding the right contracts and savings opportunities for your organization.
