Kearney Regional Medical named 2025 Outstanding Business of the Year

Kearney Regional Medical Center was named the 2025 Outstanding Business of the Year by the Kearney Area Chamber of Commerce during the chamber’s annual meeting Feb. 9 at Younes Conference Center North.

The Outstanding Business of the Year award recognizes a local business that demonstrates strong community impact, sustained organizational growth and a commitment to innovation. Eligible businesses must be chamber members in good standing for at least two years and show meaningful contributions to the region’s economic and community development.

A group of KRMC employees and physicians attended the annual meeting to accept the award on behalf of the organization. The recognition reflects the daily work performed by staff across all departments and underscores the medical center’s role in supporting the health and vitality of the Kearney area.

KRMC expressed appreciation to the Kearney Area Chamber of Commerce and the local business community for the honor and for hosting a well‑attended and engaging annual meeting. The organization also acknowledged the contributions of its employees and physicians, whose efforts continue to strengthen patient care and community well‑being.

The award marks a significant milestone for the medical center as it continues to expand services, enhance patient experience and collaborate with community partners throughout central Nebraska.
