Bryan Medical Center Earns

Bryan Medical Center has been named a Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska Blue Distinction Center+ for bariatric surgery. The honor recognizes hospitals with outstanding measures in quality, patient safety and health outcomes plus overall value and affordability for bariatric (weight loss surgery) patients.

To earn the designation, facilities must participate in Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska’s BlueCard Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) and hold accreditation from the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP).
