Kearney Regional Medical Center is pleased to welcome Dr. Vinayak Nagaraja to our cardiovascular care team.

Dr. Nagaraja comes to KRMC from the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota, where he served as an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Consultant in Community Cardiology. His arrival brings advanced expertise and a global perspective to cardiac care in central Nebraska.

Originally from India, Dr. Nagaraja earned his medical
degree from Mysore Medical College. He completed his
general cardiology training from the Royal Australasian
College of Physicians and holds three master’s degrees
from the University of Sydney—in surgery by research,
Clinical Epidemiology, and Biostatistics.


Dr. Nagaraja completed his interventional and structural cardiology training at the Cleveland Clinic. He is also the recipient of the prestigious SCAI 30 in Their 30s award, recognizing emerging leaders in interventional cardiology.

He is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, the National Board of Echocardiography, and the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. He also holds Level 3 certification in Cardiovascular CT.


With international training and a passion for patient-centered care, Dr. Nagaraja will be a valuable addition to KRMC and the communities we serve.
