Grand Island Regional Medical Center Welcomes First Baby of 2025
Courtney Lauren Zook and Corey Lee Kleinjan are parents of the first baby born in Grand Island in 2025.
Cain E Lorence Kleinjan arrived on Thursday, January 2 at 9:55 a.m. He weighed 5 pounds, 9 ounces and measured 18 inches long.
Cain will be welcomed home by an older brother, Wesley.
Nichole Bubak, Maternity Service Director says, "We are always so excited as the New Year approaches, eagerly awaiting the arrival of our New Year's Baby! Our incredible staff go above and beyond creating thoughtful New Year's baskets for the families. The anticipation of whether it will be multiple babies or a race to see who arrives first adds even more excitement. It's truly an honor to care for all the families and their precious new arrivals."
