Crete Area Medical Center Earns 2024 United Hero Award

Crete, NE, January 27, 2025 – Crete Area Medical Center today announced it has earned a 2024 United Hero Award.

“We are honored to be recognized as a United Hero recipient. This award demonstrates the commitment we have to providing excellent, quality care to each and every patient,” said Julie Lacy, Interim President and CEO of Crete Area Medical Center.

The United Hero Awards are based on the results of meeting or exceeding of the following target scores based on patient experience surveys: 93% of patients getting needed care, 90% in care coordination, and 61% in doctor-patient conversations. This award acknowledges healthcare providers who consistently go above and beyond to deliver exceptional care.
