Crete Area Medical Center Welcomes 2024 New Years Baby

The 2024 New Year’s baby for Crete Area Medical Center is Valerie. Valerie was born on January 4, 2024 at 6:25 a.m. and was delivered by Dr. Russell Ebke, Julie, RN, and Nicole, RN. Baby Valerie weighed 7 pounds 11.1 ounces and was 19.75 inches long. Valerie’s parents are Victoria and Sergio of Wilber, NE. Dr. Ebke presented a basket for the New Year’s baby to Valerie’s parents. A special thanks to Mandy Steuer, Executive Assistant, for creating the gift basket and the Crete Area Medical Center Auxiliary for providing a Halo SleepSack, bath temperature measuring rubber duck, and teething toy, to Valerie and all other babies born at Crete Area Medical Center to promote safe sleep and bathing practices.
