Alejandro Casanova joins Platte Valley Medical Clinic
Alejandro Casanova, APRN, earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the Kansas Wesleyan University, and his Master of Science in Nursing degree from Walden University.
Originally from Peru, Alejandro came to Kearney Regional Medical Center in 2017. As one of KRMC’s first international nurses, he was thrilled to be given the opportunity to work in the United States. Beginning in the Cath Lab, Alejandro soon expanded his skills and was able to work in other units
such as ICU and PCU. Over the past year, he has been working in the PCU while also completing his clinicals. Alejandro earned his APRN certification in August 2023.
Alejandro is thrilled to advance his career in the field of Gastroenterology. He's passionate about helping people and educating them about the benefits of a healthy lifestyle. He is eager to give back to the community that has given him so much.
Alejandro met his wife at KRMC; they have been married for three years and have a one-year-old son. He enjoys playing tennis, pickleball, running, and cycling, and going for walks with his family.
