Bryan College of Health Sciences Posts Record Enrollment for Fall Semester
Bryan College of Health Sciences is proud to announce a record total enrollment of 716 students pursuing degrees in health related fields for the fall 2018 semester.
“Students and their families make an investment in Bryan College of Health Sciences because of our high board pass rates, acceptance to graduate schools and 100 percent employment after graduation,” said Stacy Dam, admissions director. “We’re able to help students secure their futures in very meaningful ways.”
Established in 1926, Bryan College of Health Sciences is part of Bryan Medical Center in Lincoln, Nebraska. The institution is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and specialized accrediting agencies in health care education. Over the past decade, enrollment has increased by over 30 percent. Multiple milestones were achieved this year:
- Largest incoming first-year enrollment
- Largest Biomedical Sciences program enrollment
- Largest Education Doctorate with Emphasis in Nursing Education program enrollment
- Largest Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice program enrollment
“Our record enrollment was a college-wide effort and is a testament to our commitment to clinical and academic excellence,” said Dam. “We have a team of dedicated faculty and staff who are focused on student support leading to quality outcomes. We look forward to continuing to serve the Lincoln community and the state of Nebraska for years to come.”
Bryan College of Health Sciences offers undergraduate programs in biomedical sciences, healthcare studies, health professions, nursing and sonography/ultrasound. The College also provides a masters of science in nursing degree. Doctoral degrees are available in nurse anesthesia practice and nursing education. More than 6,000 students have graduated from Bryan College of Health Sciences and its predecessor institutions over the last century.
