Community Health Needs Assessment

Bryan Medical Center – Community Health Needs Assessment and Implementation Plan

Bryan Medical Center serves the community as a non-profit, locally owned and governed, acute care hospital with two facilities, an East Campus with 374 licensed beds, and the West Campus with 266 licensed beds. Bryan is committed to improving the health of our community by continually working with community partners to address the health needs of our community.

During 2015, Bryan worked collaboratively with the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department, Community Health Endowment of Lincoln, local hospitals, community stakeholders and local consultants to conduct a community health needs assessment to determine the unmet needs of our community. The community health needs assessment was utilized to develop the Community Health Improvement Plan, which was the basis for the Bryan Medical Center East and West Community Health Implementation Plans. These plans describe how Bryan Medical Center will give back to the community in the form of health care and other community services to address unmet community health needs.

We invite you to read the following reports for Bryan East Campus and Bryan West Campus to find out more about our community assessment and how we fulfill community health needs.
