Tenex Health TX Treatment for Plantar Fasciitis, Elbow, Heel Pain

Bryan Health is first in Nebraska to offer new treatment for plantar fasciitis, knee, ankle, heel and elbow pain

The Tenex Health TX Technique (formerly the FAST Technique – Fasciotomy and Surgical Tenotomy) was developed at the Mayo Clinic.

Interventional radiologists at Bryan Medical Center were the first to bring this innovative treatment to Nebraska, and have the distinction of being the only Nebraska Tenex Center of Excellence for the TX Technique, providing training to other physicians from all over the country.

The Tenex TX treatment removes the source of pain, which is scarred and damaged tissue, without disturbing the surrounding healthy tissue. This allows individuals to regain their active lifestyles.

Benefits of Tenex Health TX Technique:

  • Minimally invasive outpatient procedure
  • Ultrasound guided procedure performed by an interventional radiologist
  • Treatment takes 20 minutes or less
  • Performed with local anesthetic
  • Quick recovery time
  • Covered by insurance
  • No physician referral needed
