Bryan College of Health Sciences Named One of Best Ultrasound Technologist Schools in Nation

Lincoln, NE – Bryan College of Health Sciences has been named one of the best Ultrasound Technologist schools in the nation by College Choice, the leading authority in college and university rankings and resources.

“We are honored to be named as a top sonography school in the nation,” said Kay Crabtree, dean of health professions at Bryan College of Health Sciences. “Our faculty and staff work extremely hard to educate our students so that they are well prepared when they earn their degree and enter the health care industry. This recognition acknowledges that work and serves as a resource for students seeking an education in ultrasound/sonography.”

Bryan College of Health Sciences offers a specialized sonography program that emphasizes strong clinical instruction to give students the skills, experience and confidence to succeed. Individuals are able to earn their Bachelor of Science Degree in sonography by choosing from two different programs, Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Sonography. At Bryan College of Health Sciences, students receive up to 2,000 hours of training in specially designed skill labs and patient care settings to perfect their craft.

Sonographers are highly trained and independent working professionals. The specialty is one of the most consistently growing fields in the health care industry and also features the highest average compensation level for any occupational group. Data for these rankings were compiled using a nationwide survey published by the Higher Education Research Institute at UCLA and metrics from U.S. News & World Report, the National Center for Education Statistics and PayScale.com.

Bryan College of Health Sciences is part of Bryan Medical Center in Lincoln, Nebraska and is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and specialized accrediting agencies in health care education.
