Wilber Medical Clinic Welcomes Physician's Assistant
The Wilber Medical Clinic is pleased to welcome Kimberly (Vlasin) McMillan, PA-C, to its family of providers.
McMillan, a Crete native, joins the clinic with 10 years clinical experience. She has a strong background in family practice, as well as women's health.
CAMC CEO Carol Friesen is confident McMillan will be a great fit for the community.
"Kim's experiences in a family practice suits our communities well. In particular, she is well versed in diagnosing and managing many of the chronic illness we see in the Crete and Wilber areas," Friesen said.
McMillan appreciates the variety family practice medicine provides. She has been practicing full-time at the Crete Area Medical Center since December 2010. She began seeing patients in Wilber two days a week in July.
"I enjoy working with all age groups and have a particular interest in women's health, pediatrics and sports medicine. Overall, I look forward to helping patients take an active role in their healthcare," she said.
A graduate of Crete High School, McMillan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Bachelor of Science degree in physician assistant studies from Des Moines University. She completed her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
