Foundation Announces Dimas as New Board Member
The Crete Area Health Care Foundation is proud to announce new board member Manny Dimas.
Dimas will serve a three year term, filling a vacancy left by retired board member Billye O'Brien.
While Dimas and his family have only lived in Crete for three years, he and his wife, Fabiola, have both worked in Crete for 10 years. A member of the Crete Knights of Columbus and board member of the Friends of the Crete Public Library, Dimas enjoys sports and spending time with his two daughters Kathia, 8, and Sofia, 6. He and his wife are expecting a new baby later this spring.
Other board members who have volunteered to renew their service on the board for a three-year term include: Dan Papik, Karen Morris, Alene Lothrop, Marva Kasl and Esther Heitman.
The Crete Area Health Care Foundation is governed by a seventeen-member board and is responsible for accepting and raising funds on behalf of Crete Area Medical Center. The foundation and medical center are both not-for-profit organizations. The medical center and its employees are the primary beneficiary of all funds raised through the Foundation.
