Pass Rates for Certification Exams 

Nursing

Graduates of the Bacchelor of Science in Nursing program are eligible to take the national licensing examination for registered nursing. the College benchmarks licensure success with first time testing with the state and national norm rates for the same testing period. The graph provides trended data.

Diagnostic Medical Sonography

Diagnostic Medical Sonography graduates take two specialty registry exams. For the classes that graduated in May 2010, December 2011 and December 2012, their combined pass rates for the exams are:

  • Abdominal Exam: 87%      (national average = 67%)
  • Obstetrical Exam: 88%       (national average = 78%)

Vascular Sonography

Vascular Songraphy takes one specialty registry exam.  For the classes that graduated in May 2010, December 2011 and December 2012, their combined pass rates for the exams are:

  • Vascular Technology Exam: 86%        (national average = 62%)

 Adult Cardiac Sonography

Adult Cardiac Songraphy takes one specialty registry exam.  For the classes that graduated in May 2010, December 2011 and December 2012, their combined pass rates for the exams are:

  •   Adult Echocardiography Exam: 87%      (national average = 68%)
Nurse Anesthesia

For the Nurse Anesthesia certification exam, the combined pass rate for the graduating classes of 2012, 2013, and 2014 is 89%.
