The Crete Area Health Care Foundation, Crete Area Medical Center (CAMC) and Crete Rotary Club would like to invite the community to CAMC's Eighth Annual Community Picnic on June 2, 2011.
This event will take place from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the medical center.
The celebration will kickoff at 5:30 with a pork barbeque. Entertainment will be provided by the Mark Viladal Band.
There will be a Kids Club Health Zone with a bounce house, train rides and other kids' activities. The Crete Fire and Rescue Squad will be onsite providing activities and education.
"Our picnic is scheduled much earlier this year," stated Jody Vondra, Marketing director. "This will give us the opportunity to kick-off the summer and recognize our local softball and baseball teams."
In addition to recognizing local ball teams, Carol Friesen, president and CEO, will provide a report on the medical center and introduce medical staff; Kim Russell, president and CEO of the BryanLGH Health System will share a few words; and the Crete Area Health Care Foundation will recognize donor's to its annual Care and Share campaign.
"Most importantly, this event provides us the opportunity to give back to the community for its faithful support," stated Carol Friesen, CEO. "We are committed to making a difference in our community and the lives of those we serve."
